Located in Swords Creek, Virginia, E. Dillon & Company has been producing the highest quality mineral products for generations. They provide customized products to a wide customer base across the U.S. and Canada and consult with Crush Mode Aggregate Solutions for equipment sourcing and plant design.
Challenge
Dillon wanted to begin producing crushed rock from a quarry that had not been in use for 30 years. They partnered with Crush Mode to conduct a feasibility study.Their goal was to mine this quarry again to ease pressure on other quarry operations.
Solution
Micah Tysver, Crush Mode President, immediately recommended the team at IROCK Crushers, knowing they could engineer a solution that would deliver the high production volume needed to make this quarry profitable. Over the course of 10 months, IROCK configured a complex plant design consisting of a jaw crusher, an impact crusher, and a cone crusher, alongside scalping and finishing screens, and multiple stackers.
Results
Dillon was impressed with the versatile and efficient setup, noting the tracked mobile equipment was ideal for their location. They exceeded their production goals, obtaining upwards of 500 TPH.
