    This position requires working knowledge of the safe operation of forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, slings, tape measures, drills, grinders and must have the ability to read prints and technical drawings to assemble key components on rock crushing machines. The person must maintain a good work ethic built on teamwork, communication, safety, continuous improvement, and work with a customer service mindset. Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic skills are strongly encouraged.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    -Provide their own tools (annual tool allowance given)
    -Read and follow job order specifications and blueprints to plan logical assembly sequence.
    -Position various key components according to blueprints which include engine, fuel tanks, hydraulic cylinders, etc.
    -Layout hydraulic hose kits and install according to hydraulic schematics.
    -Install conveyor belting over idlers and pulleys on conveyor sections of equipment.
    -Install all other necessary components to complete the equipment.
    -Start engine and run equipment for a designated time to ensure proper functioning of equipment; engine running properly, hydraulic pumps, hydraulic/electric vibrators, cylinders, and gearing are functioning properly.
    -Working area to be kept free of excessive debris, such as wooden pallets and cardboard boxes. Area is to be swept and debris discarded at the end of each shift.
    -Must work with a safety-first mindset and have a work history that demonstrates safe working practices.
    -Must follow all IROCK QA checklists and procedures.

  • Asssembly Superintendent

    This position is responsible for the safe and efficient organization, coordination and supervision of employees assembling crushing & screening equipment in a manufacturing environment. Operational activities include properly assembling, installing and joining components in the production process per specifications and in accordance with the production schedule from the stages of individual parts, semi-finished assemblies to completion as finished goods. The successful candidate will also be accountable for the overall final assemblies and quality of the finished goods. As a divisional supervisor, the ideal candidate will also enjoy the challenges of guiding departmental initiatives and meeting corporate objectives that will further enhance IROCK’s overall growth and profitability.
