Brakefield Equipment, Inc. is a contract mining company based out of Adair, Oklahoma and has been operating in the mining industry for almost 30 years.
Challenge
In Oklahoma there is a lot of rain and constantly changing weather conditions, so the roads that Brakefield uses for coal production can go away very quickly. They need the right equipment to put the product back down so they can continue their production of coal. The equipment that Brakefield Equipment was running on site wasn’t getting the job done in terms of efficiency, reliability and production.
Solution
Warren CAT, Brakefield’s dealer in Oklahoma, recommended the IROCK TC-20 Mobile Horizontal Shaft Impact (HSI) Crusher and IROCK TS-516 Mobile Scalping Screen to get the job done. The TC-20 has the largest hopper in its class and is built for big loads and produces a uniform, cubical product that will increase production and the bottom line.
A distinct advantage is that Warren CAT has IROCK Application Specialists on their team to support customers. These specialists can recommend solutions, maintenance and service the IROCK machines as well as help customers with their applications.
Results
It was a seamless and easy set-up, with the track unit crushing within 30 minutes of walking it off the truck.
“We rely on the road rock. We have had so much rain, and if we didn’t have this piece of equipment it would have really slowed down our progress. Fortunately, the IROCK equipment has done a phenomenal job for us,” said Dennis Reed, Equipment Manager, Brakefield Equipment.
