Twenty years ago, at the beginning of 2001, I established IROCK Crushers LLC as a stand-alone company to set the stage for future growth, change, and improvement of the IROCK product line. During the 1990’s, a number of IROCK portable crushing plants were developed within Ohio Machinery Co., my Caterpillar Dealership that today represents Cat equipment and engines throughout Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeastern Indiana. I decided it was time for Ohio Machinery Co. to fully focus on its Caterpillar business and for a new organization to focus 100 percent on the design, development, fabrication, and assembly of a more comprehensive IROCK product line as well as the development of an IROCK dealer network.
I love important anniversaries. Last year, Ohio Machinery Co. celebrated its 75th year in business, having been founded on February 1, 1945, and this year, we celebrate IROCK Crusher LLC’s 20th official year in business. Comparing the early years with today, the contrast couldn’t be greater. From very humble beginnings in the early 1990’s and a new start in 2001, IROCK Crushers LLC has established itself today as an innovative, customer solutions focused and product support-oriented manufacturer of high quality, high productivity crushing plants, screening equipment, and conveying equipment for use in aggregate processing applications including recycling. In addition, IROCK has developed an excellent North American network, by no means complete, of dedicated dealers who sell, rent, and support IROCK products—always with a personal touch, a commitment to minimizing downtime, and an eye on the customer’s long-term profitability.
My commitment to IROCK has been a career-long commitment, and my IROCK leadership team and employees are very capable and dedicated people, focused on being the best, exceeding expectations, and winning. We are continuing our growth, change, and improvement in a world that benefits from economic development and re-development, reuse and recycling, and conservation. As we work our way into and through the 2020’s, IROCK Crushers and its IROCK Dealers will lead the industry with great products, great people, and great product support.
